No greater Love-
I have written about Love a great deal in the few years this blog has been in existence. It is and always has been the greatest power we could ever hope to experience. We often do not realize that until something occurs to remind us of Love’s greatness.
As I write this, my husband is close to making his transition- he has lived the life he wanted – always full of fun…loved nature and enjoyed its beauties and gave his heart to me 33 years ago. Of course I complained about him…of course we disagreed often and sometimes bickered….mostly laughed and held hands and smiled into each other’s eyes every day. In spite of the fact that the body disappears from sight, Love never does. And although the memories of Love break open my heart – I am determined to keep my heart open through it all.
Be grateful for all the forms of love in your life – in the form of pets that right now are snuggling with me-sensing my sadness. Love in the form of nature gracing us with beauty and bounty in this Spring of our year. Love in the form of parents and children that bring us to this life and challenge us to make our own life a beautiful thing. Love in the form of friends who offer hugs, and prayers when things get tough…and also make you laugh when you least expect to laugh. Love in the form of Spirit – of angels and saints, of the Source of all love that comforts and promises that Love is eternal.
Love in the form of tears …known as wet love….that reminds us that symbols of Love keep us connected to Love’s presence in all things…never absent.
I celebrate and am grateful for this Big Love – for the gift of Bill in my life and all that he has taught me…and for this lesson as well.
Love never ends.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful love with us.
I am speechless with the wnergy of this. Thank you for who you are and for loving Bill.
